West Vancouver has an incredible selection of luxury homes, throughout it many different neighbourhoods. Of course, one can find an incredible home on the waterfront, their are spectacular homes in the British Properties, where you can find a massive panoramic view, large lots, with either elegantly traditional luxury homes or compelling contemporary homes.
Chartwell is another area with beautiful luxury homes, and is similar to the British Properties, with its panoramic views and large lots.
Whitby Estates, Cantebury, Westhill, are three other areas, also above the Highway 1 (99), also with spectacular homes. Most is not all have incredible panoramic views, however the lots are somewhat smaller, often without much of a yard. Most of these homes are relatively new, built in the last five years or so.
One can also find homes scattered throughout Dundarave and Queens, however, Altamont is the neighbourhood with some of the finest homes in all of West Vancouver. They are large homes on huge impecably landscapted lots. This is a very quiet, elegant part of West Vancouver, however, few homes have a much of a view. Altamont does, however, extend down to the ocean, where there are again incredible waterfront homes.
As you head further west in West Vancouver one can find spectacular homes and homes in Westmont, West Bay, Sandy Cove, Bay Ridge, and of course, Rockridge. Rockridge is a newly developed area of West Vancouver, much of the building occuring in the past five years or so. Many of these homes and homes also have spectacular views of the city, the ocean and Vancouver Island.
One can also find a scattering of stunning homes and homes in Caufeild, Upper Caufeild, Eagle Harbour, and Eagle Ridge. These areas are further west in West Vancouver, and many of these homes and homes have stunning southwesterly views of the ocean and Vancouver Island.
Although Gleneagles is still further west, and some feel too far, it also has many stunning homes as well as homes. The views from these homes and homes is either southwesterly or due west, offering spectacular sunsets yearround.
